My Cross Stitch Projects

One of my simple joys and treasures in life are my finished cross-stitch projects. The time and effort in each projects makes it precious to me. And knowing that I my daughter Krysta will inherit these makes these heirlooms really special.
I have not framed my works yet. Since I have no permanent house I keep on thinking that it will only be hard to transport them when we moved again. Its easy to keep it unframed. Though I would love to show it off though one day, everything framed.

The pattern of the first two are originally from a Victorian Needlepoint that i converted into cross-stitch.

This is what I like to be a motif of my kitchen and dining area....lemons, limes and oranges.

and this as well.... always want a cornucopia to stitch.

From my Stoney Creek Collection of patterns this is the only one I have stitched. I don't even have my pattern of this anymore. It was not returned to me. Love to give this to Krysta.

I made this when my daugther Krysta is starting to recognize letters. This is dedicated to her.

This is a combination of hardanger and cross-stitch on linen. Its so dainty I love it.

When I was pregnant I stitch this for my baby. It's her name. Precious moments' lettering. I used blending filiment to give glitter. I love glittering...shimmering...splendid!

These are the first two i've stitch when I've first starting. With it are lots of unfinished projects ...
